The conference features storytellers and expert presenters showcasing authentic practices in work and life presenting to 400 Licensed Practical Nurses, managers and affiliated health professionals.

Facilitator Vicki Enns delivers workshops that offer a highly participatory experience, with humour and connection to life experiences. Vicki has been working as a clinical therapist for the past twenty years in the areas of trauma, family violence, couple relationships and overall wellness. She is Clinical Director at the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute (CTRI) as well as an instructor at the University of Winnipeg.

Moderator and Keynote Speaker: Hugh Culver

Hugh CulverWe are delighted to announce this year’s moderator and keynote speaker, Hugh Culver, for the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta’s 2015 Annual General Meeting and Conference.

Hugh Culver, MBA, CSP, is an author of over 100 articles on personal success as well as a master trainer, athlete and profession facilitator and speaker.

Hugh pioneered tourism flights to the South Pole, was a professional adventure guide for 18 years in British Columbia, Antarctica and the Yukon; is a whitewater kayaking competitor, mountain climber, and endurance athlete; and has even golfed at the North Pole!

In addition to his professional work, Hugh is the founding director of Dare2Dream, a youth leadership sea kayaking program on the West Coast of British Columbia.
