CLPNA’s Annual General Meeting to share LPN goals, progress

The CLPNA’s Annual General Meeting is a chance to engage with the profession’s goals, progress, possibilities, and personnel. President Valerie Paice and CEO Linda Stanger welcome all to the public event on May 9, 2018 in Edmonton.

The work of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta will be described in detail in the 2017 Annual Report scheduled for release that day. The document summarizes the goals achieved in:

  • Education & Competence
  • Registration & Conduct
  • Research & Innovation
  • Engagement & Empowerment
  • Communication & Public Awareness

The areas match the Council’s Strategic Plan, of which a new version will be shared for 2018-2021.

The AGM opens the annual CLPNA Conference, an absorbing and usually sold-out two-day educational and networking event attracting 350+ LPNs and healthcare professionals.
